Anyone have access to a Cherry Picker etc...?

Looking for one of these:

Reason being, chez_Mo starts leaking quite a bit when rain starts which means out with the pots and pans as the rain water finds its way into certain areas and happily drops onto carpet or into the pan/bucket.

I believe the reason being is that the guttering is blocked and needs clearing out.

A van with cherry picker is preferable due to location, guttering that needs clearing is faced onto main road at the top of the high street.

Yes but I'd probably get sacked if I lent it to you.

Bump for Mo etc etc.

(spoke to lad who owns flat above about same)

Lol, there was one right outside my window putting up the Christmas lights some time week or so ago. Was half temped to ask him if I could jump in and clear out gutters or bribe him to  obviously that wouldn't have worked.

Have they strung Chrimbo lights up outside your flat with a cherry picker?

Do you think the local council lads are bribable?

I imagine it would be a challenge to clear out gutters without covering yourself and the cherry picker with sludgy crap.

Might take some explaining if you are doing Xmas lights.

You cheeky shit hire a roofer :-)

Really I know it's expensive but don't they hire these out do is it yet another thing you need to take a test for the to get a letter on your licence?

How high is it?

We got ours done (normal 2 storey house) by some roofers with a ladder when we saw them working a couple of houses down.

A decent handyman with a ladder and bucket will do this, assuming two storeys only.  Not sure if my very reliable bloke travels, but I can ask.

I've got plans to make a trebuchet if someone wants to work out the angles. Sorry mo,I'm in one of those moods!

If posting a picture of a vehicle , keeps dodgy threads out of the Other Place.

Does this count? When youve cleaned the guttering can you tile my bathroom?

Feeling a bit peckish too....

It's 3 or 4 floors up and right on the road in the town centre, ladders would be suicide. There's a guy in Ludlow who has an extendable vacuum cleaner called skyvac to clear gutters, I'll try and find his number if there isn't anyone doing it there. Maybe here http://www.richieshandyman.co.uk/guttercleaning.html

Cheap wet vac, 14 extension poles, and a plastic extension tube to bend into a u shape...

I need a cherry picker to replace the lights in the workshop. I think it's about 7m at the apex, might be less, can't be arsed working out the pythons & hippopotamuses to figure it out - just want some scaffold or a cherry picker as I'll need it anyway!

Best off hiring a scaff tower; you can also get ladders with out riggers that will probably reach that high.
