Lol this is what I love about this site. We're all up for a stand at some car show so long as we don't actually have to tell people where we're from or promote the site just so we don't end up full of bumders and bus wankers

OK, so how about we have a stand at the NEC under our proper name "Autoshite", to put some people off, and then we tell anyone else that's still interested that we're not accepting new members. That should do it.

I suggested that earlier in the thread, but with a bit of toilet roll draped over the H instead of a towel.

So far then I have worked out that there will be a stand with no banner (in case it offends anyone), empty spaces where the vehicles should be (as nobody can agree what cars to put there) and nobody manning it because everyone will go for a wander at the same time, either to look at other stands/autojumble or to beg used veg oil off the catering concessions.

Maybe rather than have a stand, we all get cheap shirts printed with Autoshite, and just meet up and wander round en masse, and give the forum url out to people worthy of having it?
