And if that vineyard were in fucking Sellafield, I'd not give a flying monkey as long as the wine is good.

Least you'd be able to find it in the cellar without turning the light on.

But that negates the use of nuclear energy. A quite puzzling paradox.

Enjoy your hols wherever you are, if it's East Anglia there's plenty of 80s and 90s chod in daily use - I was in the sticks round Thetford last week and it's still quite Dad's Army.

Maybe it's time to take the sepia tinted glasses off? So far the only 80s and 90s chod in daily use I have seen is this:

Then again, that Aldi could be from the 80s. They have been building the same car the past 30 years.

But they had an ugly teapot.

A pier.

There is beer on the pier.

The sun set.

So I went to a pub.

That shinyshiny steed will stick out like a London-type in the more remote areas - there'll be little to differentiate the 405 from a new Aldi for some more native natives, whose car-credibility rating seems to be depend on how many years of dust protects the paintwork.

In E Dereham and on the 1075 road to Thetford I spotted two 80s Golfs, three ZXs, a Horizon, two Randle XJ6s, a Granada and summut else I've forgotten, which looked to have a Hattie Jacques clone at the wheel.

Anywhere I go they are out of Cromer crabs!

It's bloody high time for Brexit so we can torpedo those furrin fishing trawlers.

You going to visit the Auto-Loco model shop in Sheringham? Opening hours are somewhat French in my experience, but it's worth a look if you're over that way.

That pier is much nicer than the jetty at Felixstowe, they spent a small fortune putting a brand new building up recently, but didn't bother to repair the rest of the pier, which is still closed off.

A and M Frary Shellfish in Wells-next-the-Sea, said: "There’s nothing to be worried about. We have on and off years, and we haven’t had an off year since about 2012".

The reactionaries reading the Grauniad/DailyFail will blame it on AGW or ClimateImprovement, as you call it. I much prefer Frary's response.

You could try ordering some crab online via Morrisons... they have been known to stock Norfolk, even Cromer crab meat

Liquor and wine is illegal in the U.S. unless it is radioactive. When tested, drinking alcohol is required to have at least 400 radioactive decays per minute for each 750 ml.

From https://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2016/02/02/heres-why-every-glass-of-wine-you-drink-is-radioactive-yes-really/#6f67a2da7015

Anyone who eats Irish Sea fish would be well-conditioned for Sellafield's finer vintages were there such a thing. I ate some Manx kippers a few weeks ago and they had a definite edge over any Arbroath Smokie. Whitby's are the best though, from that smoky little shed on the cliff overlooking the harbour. Even if the fish are Icelandic, despite the best efforts of the Navy.

Today I spotted a 90s car, hitherto the only one in the area apart from mine.

Imagine my surprise when I spotted another one in form of this V6 shit.

You know you are in the middle of nowhere when they have letter boxes on a stick:

42895426684_83709633e1_b.jpg

But being in the middle of fuck all doesn't prevent the English from not allowing someone to park if his car is too high.

42902399144_c40f909458_b.jpg

The mind boggles.

There was a grave.

43618625611_c1940b4fd9_b.jpg

Evidently no height restriction applies to graveyard monuments. The logic is not understood.

There was an MG dealership void of any MGs.

A church.

41811595260_0329038f1a_b.jpg

Inside was a nice radiator.

Another church for the ones who don't like the ones going to the other church.

Nothing is more depressing than a closed bar.

Ask the French.

The old school house has a boys entrance.

43620902701_c4febe69c3_b.jpg

It also has a girls entrance and that's it.

I think that's why it isn't a school house anymore, since nowadays you'd need at least three more entrances,

so everybody can live in this utopia nobody gets bloody offended in.

One wonders what takes you inside those buildings of the Occult, unless those radiators are advertised without?

There was this:

Which I liked a lot. Sadly no nickage was possible because presence of preacherman.

Ah! You are in the cultured zone of Norfolk - is Firmin as in Clangers/Bagpuss?

Rather than relying on occasional clergy, don't you have a wifelet to prevent nickage of desirable objets?

Posted

There was a Peter Firmin whose name was on children's telly in the 70s.

Not where I watched telly as a kiddo. But your comment is now understood.

Sadly I didn't meet Mr Firmin of little cottages makage, hence no hagglage towards legal change of ownership could ensue.

Consequently and regrettably no little cottages ownage has been forthcoming at all.

Wifelet didn't even let me nick that radiator. Mumbled something like God's own house and other nonsensical rubbish.

Sadly not. I don't have that class - but such things are available for rent at Reculver and Seasalter for non-stupid prices.

It will get struck by lightening tonight so that will fix it.
