Sold Land Rover 90

Not a very AS price @£3000 but I thought it may be worth a punt, been dicked around by a local and a dealer this week.

 

One of the first 90s built, it has the original 2.25 litre petrol engine with the standard Weber twin choke carburettor. The engine runs well and is very quiet. Five speed LT77 gearbox. The body has a few scrapes and dings but is generally very good with little aluminium corrosion. The paintwork is all original. Chassis and bulkhead are in good condition; the bulkhead has recently had a footwell repair to a good standard.

 

The only upgrades or modifications are the fitting of power steering and rear disc brakes in place of the original drums.

 

6 former keepers.

 

Recently it has had a full engine service, a checkover and chassis blacking at a independent Land Rover specialist. MoT runs to July 2016. I'm between Stamford and Leicester.

I can vouch for this man having bought a smelly old C15 from him in a McDonalds car park some years ago.

 

It was just as described, ie old, rough and smelling of oily old bits of traction engine.
