Don't think the tyre was rubbing, I got a secondhand wheel/tyre from    http://www.blackbushemotors.com/  as the spare was a 185 alloy  but the others are smaller steels and put this on the OSR  before the MOT, I think the trye was scruffed before it was fitted.  It doesn't seem to have French Car Wanky Rear Suspension Arm Syndrome nor is the new tyre scruffed after a couple of weeks use*

Surprised at some of the advisories. I don't remember seeing grot on this, and especially not "large holes". 

 

If it still runs and drives as well as it did when I had it, I'd thoroughly recommend it. At the price, it's a barg.
