Not personally, no, but as I said, I'm happy to help anyone who does want to save it.  It's still showing on the DVLA website but that might just mean they haven't processed the V5 yet if the breakers really did send off the scrap section.  If it hasn't been marked scrapped after all, it's definitely worth a go at saving it can be got for £200ish.

If it can be got for  two hundred quid, and is not yet listed as scrapped (and maybe a call to DVLA could stop that happening, I dunno), and if someone will try to save it but lacks two hundred quid, I might be persuaded to act as banker, subject to the usual Greek bailout rules.

Its £150 worth at most. Scrap yards never knock 70% off the price of anything so its game over for this one.

They're onto a winner either way. They'll either get the same money for turning it into washing machines they were going to get to start with or more money from someone they recon they can leverage 500 quid out of.

Of course no one will pay 500 quid for it so it'll either sit rotting (like that super rare Toyota in the bus yard) or be turned into bumper irons for MG3's.

Seeing that Pandamodium couldn't give my old one way at one point, and mine was a good one, I can't see why anyone would fuck about this one, They just aren't worth in TBH.

Let them crush it and get £70 for the steel.

£500? No.

Turns out it also benefits* from cut springs.  It just gets better!

From the reports of sightings, the person who bought it off him (I'm guessing Kev from the sale thread) must have seen an incoming MOT failure recently as it was spotted at a nearby petrol station on June 22nd.

Hmmm...

80's woman, girl in jimjams, John Wayne and Scrappie......

Would hazard a guess that even though the car was fit as fuck in the eighties, a teenage girl back then would sleep with you. Now it is in the hands of a cowboy and will end up in the scrappy?

Was it the scrapyard owners son who valued it at 500 notes?

Are you thinking what I'm thinking ?

200 quid for the old man , 300 for me .
