Thought it would be better to have a separate thread for photos rather than have them mixed up in the meet thread. :)

 

 

I've given up trying to work out how you post the thumbnails like you used to be able to do so this is a link to the album, most now below linked from facebook. How on earth it is easier to link from there than a specific phot site I've no idea..

The red thing is a hand made by an airframe engineer one off. Really quite impressive detail on it to be fair.

The blurb said it ran on No2 and oxygen but it seems these motors or more accurately rockets actually run on propyl Nitrate and oxygen. This might make the comment that everyone at Santapod ended up with streaming eyes after the run a little more understandable.

Yes, they were not connected to AS, and spent Friday night in their camper with the curtains closed.

They seemed very nice old giffers, and spent much of the time looking amused/bemused by the influx of nutters and tat filling their nice quiet field.  The old boy did ask me at one point how the Alpine had scored its ticket and whether it was expected to get another one...

Apparently they used to be friends with the museum owner and visit 3 or 4 times a year I doubt they will return after Friday night lol. Coincidence?? I wonder....the museum owner on the other hand was a great bloke and I would suggest honourary Shitter... who even encouraged us to mess with his own Chod...

My selection. I've tried to keep it fairly brief, so we don't end up with too-many-pictures thread.

 

I set off from home and 8 miles later, things looked like this.

Llangollen itself was hosting far too many Morgans, and then a posh classic rally rolled into town.

Genuinely staggered by this one. A Trident Tycoon! (I mistakenly called it a Typhoon. The chap wasn't much for a friendly chat)

There was a train ride, then back to camp. Later, it got dark. Later still, the dirty mags came out.

Mat-the-cat fell around a lot, folk sat around the fire. Then a very short amount of sleep occurred. To perk us all up, Scotland provided calories. Many of them.

After Will kindly filled my XM with the finest veg, a smelly convoy headed off. This was a gentle alternative to Mat's fun route, but actually took less time. I thought it was just me and Joe in the Pleasure Wagon, but it seemed quite a few others followed us.

Naturally, once everyone got to Devil's Bridge, the test hill hoons began. Check out the variety! This is what I love about Autoshite.
