Yo Testes!  Any chance of a lend to shift Lord Sterling's Rovers?  ;)

What a win! That uno diesel sounds superb too. Perhaps some loading leg/rear steady things might be a future refinement?

That photo has so much going on. Uno, class trailer with Rostyles and snazzy straps, 760, XJ40 and then cheeky bit of 214 SEi to finish off. Brilliant!

I do a bit of towing here and there, I was always told, if it looks right, it is right. That trailer looks right.

Decent straps and working lights go a long way to being left alone.

Yeah it could do with some of those leg things, defo.

I took it for a test rag this weekend at last after getting some wheel spacers and finally fitting the new wheels and tyres. Turns out the front wheels have shorter studs than the rears so now I need 8 longer studs, there are some on the bay for like £4 each??? What a rip. Obv they are old UNF threads.

When first loaded the Fiat it squashed the arse end of the Volvo right down and I thought it was gonna be a washout straight away but after some faffing about it levelled up a treat. I checked the tyre pressures in the trailer, strapped the Fiat down with my new UKIP-themed ratchet straps, and took it for a spin!!!! I am pleased to report that it tows a treat although i havent been on the dual carriageway yet. Still got a couple of jobs to do - new numberplate light, breakaway cable and a new socket on the back of the car.

One other thought, do you have a breakaway cable fitted? Apparently not having one is an on the spot fine. It depends on the rozzer as my motorway rozzer mate was telling me recently.

Edit: you beat me to the note about the breakaway cable.

If you are looking for wheel studs try a local ag place . Companies called vapormatic and sparex supply them and studs are much cheaper . Think you can find specs online so you can give the dealer a part number . Did this for dads Isuzu and saved loads

Good tip this, cheers! After a bit of googling and digging some tractor shop is sending me some studs for £15 delivered as opposed to £32 off the bay.
