DodgyBastard Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 We stayed in Newcastle last night and went out for a cruise around a posh industrial estate and found a nice car park to get some photos. Richard Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Spotted some shite. DSC_1177 by srblythe, on Flickr There's one of those in Glenrothes on a 10 plate, I had to use Cartell to find out what it was. It's a Foers Ibex and I was astonished to find that it wasn't from Eastern Europe. DodgyBastard 1
garbaldy Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 That's the chain bridge honey farms and they have more than one, in fact the whole farm is cramed with chod, they have a classic event every year too.I was in Berwick the day and would have loved a skeg at this pretty little motor. DodgyBastard 1

Anglevan Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 No brainer for me it has to be a day of welding shite (only cause I did that yesterday welding the ol' marina).Mr Foad, on your travels have you ever come across an L300 van? I m after a complete column change set up. Fitted between 1986 & approx 1998 ish? If so let me know please. Or think of us if you do, Thanks. Keep up the good work. ... on another note I'll be up your way soon (Well Scotland) I know it's a big place !. Off to Dumfries, Glasgow, Finavon and then Edinburgh. Owt of interest to look out for on my travels in the way of old shite?
DodgyBastard Posted June 28, 2015 Author Posted June 28, 2015 I'll have a look up there for l300's but I don't remember seeing anything like that. I've managed to get a permission visit so hopefully I can get the real story on the place.
Essex V6 Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Is the place you are talking about Davisons of Rora (just outside Peterheid?)
DodgyBastard Posted June 28, 2015 Author Posted June 28, 2015 I don't know it by that name but its near peterhead. Got some good and bad news about the place. Everything is for sale but it might not have long left. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Lacquer Peel Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Davidson's of Rora is still a functioning breakers yard.
Steviemillar Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Is the place you are talking about Davisons of Rora (just outside Peterheid?)No, its not Davidson of Rora Essex V6. I remember the first (and only) time I was at this place about fifteen years ago, I was totally gobsmacked at the cars there, although most of the cars there at that time were beyond repair. The green Proton and the black Sonata from FOAD's previous post - I can remember these cars driving around Peterhead in the 90s. The bloke who owned the ground that these cars are on was getting on a bit age-wise when I visited.
