dave j Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 I bet that Skoda will be popular! I had one as my first car and would l love another so will deffo get a ticket!
RetroShite Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 Here's what's coming up this month! Royale80, timolloyd and Shep Shepherd 3
RetroShite Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 After a shitload of welding and a bucket of seam sealer, new shocks and brake pads we have a pass on the Maestro van! Royale80, Mrcento, Dirk Diggler and 26 others 29
High Jetter Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Busby will be chuffed. Scruffy Bodger and Stinkwheel 1 1
RetroShite Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Picked up this Marty McFly special last night being sold with a misfire. Runs like a bag of shit and no compression all over the place with 150, 50, 50, 100 psi. Doesn't appear to be overheating or mixing oil/coolant although the oil did seem to be rather sludgy and black... Apparently the Toyota 4y engine is still mass produced in China and used in forklifts so if the worst happens I can just buy a new engine... mk2_craig, wesacosa, Back_For_More and 9 others 12
Schaefft Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 That's a rad looking truck, just needs 4 spotlights on top! Tenmil Socket and Low ontime 1 1

RetroShite Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Here's this weekends cavalcade of misery. The Triumph seems to be the most popular one to date even with the videos of it being ragged shitless, loads of people seem to want it. The Hyundai hasn't gathered much interest and the DT is doing quite well. I added the wee QR50 today for Sundays draw so probably be quite a low odds one for that. mk2_craig 1
Boycie Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 There's a reason it's the most popular .... It's feckin awesome

rattlecan Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Our window cleaner at work had one identical, you could still see the ‘telecom’ bit just from the glue that had never been cleaned off. The silly sausage pulled up directly right behind a truck I had just jumped into & I promptly reversed it straight into him 😀

RetroShite Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 Got the GSA running today, we had to winch it onto the truck when collected and spent a bit of time trying to figure out why it wouldn't start. It seemed to be getting fuel and checking the coil with a multimeter there was power there. Distributor cap and rotor arm seemed a little bit corroded so cleaned them up and checked with a loose spark plug and was getting a spark. I removed the old spark plugs and tested them, one of 3 seemed to work. New plugs fitted today, charged the battery and fired straight up. A little bit of adjusting the carb and it seems to be running better. I'm offering it up as a rolling resto project. EyesWeldedShut, goosey, chodweaver and 11 others 14

RetroShite Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 I had no intention of buying any more cars until I'd cleared a decent space.
