Maybe on gravel.

I mocked this picture up a few months ago just for the raised eyebrows! No towbar fitted, can't imagine it being a particularly fun experience although the nose weight may help with grip?!

To be fair years ago, Capris were just regarded as cars used for car things. I think my Brothers 280 had a towbar when he bought it, was quickly removed though

My dad, to our 1600 L Mk2 which would have been just a year or so old at the time of this photo:

I remember seeing an "Autotrader bargain" FB RX7 which a tow bar and a 2.0 Pinto fitted.

some people used to fit them to save on dinking the bumper in minor parking altercations so could well be that

Ah, MT-5 the slowest ‘sports’ moped you could get. Well done Honda, still would now though.

As bought for their offspring by parents who hoped they would survive to support them in their dotage.

That Transit is magnificent.

My dad had a grey B reg with a number plate quite similar to that, Sure it started B506 anyway, we're talking late 90's. Same engine as well. Remember the dash, wheel and seats very well!

Always had half an eye out for one but never, ever seen one come up. Well caught!

I'm fairly sure that 305 Van used to live about 100m from me. Same colour and EEV plate. People in the house moved a few months ago.

Has it got Grays on the log book / history anywhere?

Hang on *counts the doors, does a comedy doubletake*

Wait, it's RHD? The wipers I can't remember if RHD Mk2 had them swapped properly so the scuttle is a red herring and the arches confused me.

The Jetta has been converted to right hand drive with single wiper conversion which parks in the middle of the windscreen. I strategically placed it at the side for the photos to stop people asking if the wiper motor was broken.
