I hope you change your mind on the 190 roffle. Looks ace.

It looks great in photos but is actually covered in scratches and lacquer peel.

Bonnie 190, I miss mine.

I was thinking about how much I missed my old ones.

I even looked on the internet at 190's for sale and was amazed at how highly priced they are now considering I never paid any more than £800 for any of mine :(

Another that would love a 190...… although I have seriously chav intentions for any sufficiently cheap one I get my hands on!

6:03ish - you leaning in with that face on - reminded me of Bill Maynard - THE GAFFER...…..

Going to look at another car tomorrow, it's a rusty 3.0 executive saloon with around 6 months mot on it.

What's the interior like? [fingers crossed for a pimp palace of velorous delight, ideally in beige]

I fitted a new starter motor to the 323 which now enables it to start first time, it had been a right ball-ache to get going before with it only engaging every now and then but it now starts straight away and seems to run fine.

I did other important jobs such as wire the stereo up to the ignition barrel which is just kind of dangling there, I need to find a steering cowling for it because it's missing.

Annoyingly some twat has crashed into the car in the space of a week of it sitting here.

It has a big scrape up the front wing which wasn't there when I bought it, I am mildly pissed off but can't really say anything because I'm taking up more space than I've really got and other people do need to get by the car which was sitting further out than it should be.

I went to East Kilbride this morning to pick up a set of wheels.

It was a bit disappointing to find out that only two of them were genuine E21 bmw Alpina alloys and the other two are just copies that look similar.

They were free so I'm not particularly bothered that they're not all the same. My plan is to clean them up, paint them and replace the tyres then fit them to the Felicia.

They aren't Alpina wheels. The top one is a regular 323i 20 spoke 5.5 or 6J, the lower one is a copy as you say, probably Melber.

Alpina alloys were made by Ronal and have ALPINA cast into the front between two wheel bolt holes.

Still, for free............

Ach you beat me to to XG30 but lack of available time meant I couldn't get there till the weekend. Plenty of car for the cheap price there!

If Hyacinth Bucket’s character was based in the early noughties, and Korean motors were the new Rover (which I guess they pretty much were at the time), I could see her being chauffeured by Richard in the back of one of these.

On a very different angle, with tints added, I wonder if they were popular in Bogotá when new?

I see a marketing opportunity here to rename this the Kingdom of Blether.

Just as a heads up...I'm sure I saw that Sierra on FB and the owner was saying the engine was knocking. They may have told you already, but thought I'd let you know.

I was going to add that I can’t see any info for tax status on the doovla website either, for the Sierra which seems rather odd.

I saw that in an earlier post. I think he said it was a lifter knock.

It'll be on a different plate, he has just put that one on retention because he thinks it's worth £650.

I got a cheap Gopro knockoff and had a quick go at testing it out from various angles. I would quite like to make some kind of rig for filming and taking photos from so I'm going to try fucking about with it over the next few days.

Videos look a bit rubbish at night.

I made my rig out of bits of steel then welded it to the bottom of the car and took some long exposures with a bit of welding glass in front of the lens. I think it'll give better results in the dark without the shaded glass.
