spike60 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I've been given contact details for a 1994 RS2000 4x4 with a borked engine but replacement engine supplied. Is it going to be worth the chew or should I leave it where it lays, bearing in mind it's a 21 year old Ford, unseen at the mo? Don't think it's been laid long, nor do I know general condition until have a looky see.

Timewaster Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 A mate of mine had one five or six years ago and literally couldn't give it away. It had done 150000 hard miles and showed every single one of them. He didn't want to see it bridged but I'm pretty sure thats where it went.

Either that or one of pwick neighbours was peeing through the lock...

trigger Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I guess it all depends on how much it is and how rotten it is, if it's cheap enough and your capable of fitting a engine then what have you got to lose, the engine is worth a bit on its own.

The chassis seems to be the biggy for me, if it looks anything like that other one it won't be coming home with me. Also it may just be plain rough, old Fords don't age well for me.
