1994/5 Astra 1.4 automatic

61,000 miles, one family owned from new

Power steering

Seriously tidy car that's clearly been looked after.

MOT 17th Feb. I honestly don't think it'll want much, and I'll take it for another MOT at your cost if you want and then you'll know what it needs.

Taxed until end of month, HARDCORE, YOU KNOW THE SCORE.

Seems to run fine, but I'm going to cop out and say it'll want a service, it'd only been used for local journeys and not sure when it was last serviced.

I can't argue (because I know what it's like) but Gumtree has pretty much done for me, I can't take any more shit from an assembly of cash-less nitwits.

So....

£200 takes it, no offers (people are going to 'do a Station advert' here) and I want it gone soon.

Chester, Cheshire. Form an un-orderly queue

Ps would genuinely swap for a Corsa B with a decent length of MOT.

Aye, tide mark is a bit low for your usual stock quality;)

Glwts-not a cheaper one to be found!

Very very  very  tempting  but distance and time is against me this week

Posted

Distance is a mere matter of miles.

Can afford it, I'm up the road, but nowhere to put it. I think I've said that a couple of times previously.

Sort something out with Stixy Mr Cavcraft, he doesn't need much encouragement.

Where about are you, Stixy? I could deliver (at very low cost)  if you're within about 25 miles.

Posted

I'm driving from Navenby to somewhere near Liverpool on Wednesday morning. I'll be leaving about 7am if that helps any Stixy, prob not as Billy will likely be at work.

They have seats, you sit in it to go get car... Saved you looking into them...

Jeez that's cheap Billy.

Last I heard I had an 'Auntie' ideal for this fine chariot. It's a bit late for calling her now, and I can't find her number anyway. I'll make investigations tomorrow and report back. If it sells in the meantime so be it, but I'll try in the morning.

It's amazing how tempting that is. Or perhaps it's a sign that I just want to take some linseed oil to those poor bumpers! However, I'm still playing the 'skint' card at this moment in time, even though after the Maestro van WUD REKOMEND DIS SELLA.

I had a brief but pleasurable* exchange with some penniless Knob Warbler on Facebook about this car earlier. He offered £100, I said that's the deposit covered, then he got all Keyboard Conan about it. I wouldn't mind, but he looked like if he actually had £100, he would actually buy 10x£10 fixes of crack and hot spoon himself into oblivion.

If you scrap it you could sell the plate to someone called Adam (or someone who drives an Adam, all 3 of them)

I have some better looking (but still not genuine GM) wheel trims that I will put on it.

Hope to have some positive news for you by lunchtime Billy.

I'm with Knob Warbler on this. For £200 he'll need an ironclad warranty. Breaking down en route to his crack dealer would be untenable.

I'll put the kittens and the Nun away now shall I?
