I’m just south of oxford now- absolutely bounced down earlier. It interrupted my volcano making. We had to put the lights on!

Today I have noticed my old 2004 Range Rover I sold in Feb is back on the road 14 June. It was still lovely to drive but Oh so broken and rusty. I sold it to we buy any car and was relived that nobody here wanted it because I was worried about it imploding at any time.

This all came about because I'm an idiot and got my dates wrong, but some jobs were wanting to be done, and the kids love it there, and my parents weren't doing anything and provided (partial) childcare, so wtoday I've been at the FoD

The kids used the expensive boat like a cheap climbing frame

And the diggers

We moved some cars about

And Chris did some reading

And we drank lots of tea

I also drove the new FoD executive toilet taxi (which started having brakes again by the end, and the air con sort of works.

A lovely day, see you all again in 2 weeks when we are actually supposed to be there!

We had to move some project cars around and now we have 7 in a line. Dreaming out loud, imagine if Autoshiters divided into teams for a race. The race would be to fix their project, drive to the nearby town and return with fish and chips!

Oh wow you have been busy! Did you get into the Herald?

I know what my steed will be! I'd just have to start braking 3/4 a mile before I needed to stop...

We found a key for the passenger door. Turns out the driver's outside handle is not working and does not open the door.

I have a plan to replace the BMW with something much more broken by open field day!

Perfect, it's awful when it's hot. Eva got sunburn from Sunday!

I probably won't camp, in the interests of covid etc I can get home and we can all have a bath etc and come back fresh. Might be up for both Sat and Sun though... I know mum and keith are looking forward to it

That BMW isn't too broken, it just needs a service!

It needs using in the field and checking over to see what it needs for MOT.

Wow ill be honest im surprised anything from that corner of the FoD can actually still move/be moved!

quite an impressive lineup :)

does this mean theres now some hard standing for REV (and dolly?) if you dont mind me asking so? :)

its a shame I wont be able to make it! but I wonder if the up coming weekend will see Dolly move under her own power finally with her freshly cleaned out carb :)

Autoshiters have worked hard to help us enable these cars to be at least pushable.

No space in yard, it is being cleared for other reasons.

i only hate your beemer :)

You need to drive my 328i Msport manual with LSD, a raw driving experience of a well engineered car. Image may be a problem but driving it is not.

I don't think hairnet needs to worry about his image
