God, can you imagine what that would be worth to a VW botherer in a few years time? The pineapple Man has probably devalued it by a factor of three.

He's put it on on youtube  "Caddy popping flames "      Deary, deary, me , sommmat awful wrong with the fueling or timing ? I think its running a  19.5 v turbo motor now ...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqijnM0vO-I

Actually i like what he's done to it !  I like a vdub truck, but the engine was crap ( 1st generation ECU )(12 visits to vw under warranty in 1st year ) , noisy , no leg room , and leaf suspension that jarred your back unless there was a few bags of cement in the back... I don't miss it.

Found another ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2f203TDvKo

I just checked HML, 1 citivan taxed and 3 on SORN so theyre not completely extinct yet!!!

Excellent stuff, there may still be a Fiorino pickup round here but I haven't seen it for a while. Didn't Lord Bickle express an interest in these not so long ago? If he wants one then that's the ultimate seal of approval on its rarity and obscurity  :-D

As for the Citivan, look carefully and you'll see one here. It sat on that forecourt for ages so it can't have been very saleable even back in 1998 but the garage itself and presumably the van are long gone now :( If only fuel still cost that...

How did I get from this video to 'TONGUE ME' in only 6 short clicks...that always happens when I go to YouTube.

I guess you could get the flames by mapping the ECU so that it cuts the ignition at max revs whilst keeping the injectors opening - so a load of fuel is pulled through into the exhaust, which then ignites as the revs fall and the plugs begin sparking again.

Nope, and it won't be coming here, either. It's heading for Costa_Del_BO'110X at some point.

Do him proud and at least make up a cardboard caravan back all expertly coloured in with crayons.

I love small pick-ups, why don't makers sell them in the UK now? Here's what you can buy from Fiat if you have strange foreign ways, I saw a Polish registered one recently, ACE.

There must surely still be a market with British farmers for a cheap, diesel pick-up? Ok they didn't make huge sales figures between them, but look at stuff like Tatas, these, FSOs and what not, I reckon a really cheap mingeback spec would sell reasonably well.

I bet the market has shrunk these days as most farmers now run fancy shmancy farm pickups now, when was the last time you saw an old tractor on a farm they all seem to be john deers or some other modern shit.

Yup, most of the farmers I encounter through work are tooling around in Navara pickups and the like. The only chod that remains popular are daihatsu fourtraks - these still command strong money over here

Tuesday at Capernwray.

He has a shonky looking Dave Brown tractor and runs round the farm in an even shonkier Shogun SWB

Awesomeness all round I think. That would have made the BEST camper. With Bol pootling round the North West like a pound shop Banacek, solving crimes and fixing head gaskets.

Saw loads of these little Fiats when I was in Brazil in November. They love their small pick ups, theres a VW version, a mk 4 fiesta pick up and, for life's natural born winners - the Chevrolet Montana:

I didnt see many Fiorinos though -strange, since the Brazillians only stopped making thier local version of the Uno ('Mille') in 2010.

Given the popularity* of the Mini pickup I often used to wonder why AR never marketed a Metro based version.

I picked this up tonight!! No pics as it was pitch black, pissing down and blowing a gale throughout. Only interesting development was that I asked to use the guys loo and when I flushed it the fuggin bowl just filled up with water and stayed there. I left him with a 5l bucket of piss to deal with. Pickup truck is ace though!!!

He'll be laughing more,  coz you'll have 500 litres of shit floating about in the bed  by the morning!!  Fooking wild out there !

Modern toilets are crap. Our old one dated from the 1950's and could withstand anything, our new one fitted a few years ago can not withstand my bowel motions and often does the "backing up" routine - I now have been banished to having a bail at work only.

Pictures though of the horribleness of the Fiat please.

I went to look at this today - it was horrible too

I think this toilet’s problem was not one of being modern, more of having to service four barely-house-trained blokes whose diet probably consists entirely of bacon, eggs and special brew

I'm looking for a drivers side headlamp and passenger side tail lamp for this now if anyone has any ideas. Theres a yard on the bay breaking one, but they want £80 for those two items!!! Idiots man.

A facelift Uno headlamp looks similar, but I don't think its the same.

Van rear lights were the same, someone sent me a link to some in France or Italy, though hopelessly I can't remember who, sorry. I'll carry on digging, some are bound to turn up.
