Lacquer Peel Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Cavette's Xantia? It is a hatchback but they have an enormous boot. Cavcraft 1
320touring Posted November 27, 2014 Author Posted November 27, 2014 Cavette's Xantia? It is a hatchback but they have an enormous boot.I"d prefer an estate for shite hauling purposes. That said, the green goo fills me with an equal amount of wonder and dread

320touring Posted November 27, 2014 Author Posted November 27, 2014 has the collective power of autoshite failed me? or are you lot just warming up with the sensible* suggestions?
HillmanImp Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I 2nd the Xantia. The new Volvo V60 estate only has 430 litres capacity with the rear seats in place but the trusty old Xantia has 408 litres, also with the seats up and is way way nicer.
beko1987 Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Green goo is fine, don't be scared. Get the xant! Cavcraft 1
DVee8 Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Didn't someone have a red xsara or zx estate for sale or was it a real bad dream?
beko1987 Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 There was a red zx estate, wasn't it re-lent again though?
skattrd Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I agree with the "buy the Xantia from Cavcraft" comments. A decent sized hatchback isn't far off an estate for tat space, however if shifting heavy things like engine/gearboxes then an estate is probably better due to easier access to the load area ie. no big lip. Cavcraft Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I agree with people agreeing about my agreeable Xantia. beko1987 and cms206 2

skattrd Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I agree. What was the question again? Something about washing machines I think ... anyway I hear the OP is on a train to Chester at the moment. Cavcraft 1

DodgyBastard Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Cars on the Isle of Mull but can bring to Oban if I get £400 for it. Mot till June, new discs n pads, battery, lhm oil and flush, new front BX spheres for comfy ride. Few dings n scratches, front knocking noise airbag light on and abs light despite new sensors and abs rings. Receipts to prove work. Drives good. 50 mpg+ James 01681 704209
