Nec classic car show November

My mate's FSO 125P will be there in glorious people's beige, complete with whitewall tyres. Shitetastic. Sadly it's just too fookin expensive for me to go atm

I can spare 2 tickets for the Friday for anyone that wants to come. Look forward to seeing anyone who comes, I'll be on the FSO/Lada stand. Next year I'll have an Alpine on the Simca stand. PM me.

Enjoyed the show and the shite on show was outstanding.

 

I did notice a trend on some clubs affiliated to manufacturers to have new cars on their stands. Their excuse was that they were "future classics".

My thoughts are that these future classics should be displayed at "normal" shows not classic shows. Imagine iof every club did the same and had new cars on their stands??? Where would the classics come in to it?

 

Apart from that some good chod - Tatra, Wartburg, Yugo, Renault 20/30, Maxi and other BL.  

I also managed a run out in an E type from the Dream rides team.

 

Roll on next year.

There was a marker pen, you could sign it if you like, not sure why. The chap was busy chatting when i dropped by.

The car arrived late Thursday night in a worse state than they expected, (It was gifted to them via Sam Glover), As they plan on fully restoring it before next years show they thought it would be a novel idea to graffiti it. It certainly helped it get plenty of interest.

Yep, it was class one of my favourates from the whole show. It had an autoshite sticker on it. Spoke to a really nice chap amout it, he was the owners mate.

I think it would be good if autoshite had a stand but I also don't want one. I want to be selfish and not have this place turn into RR

A stand would be good,but instead of having people on the stand maybe just have the cars lined up and a computer terminal in the middle logged onto autoshite? lol
