Anyone with a Triumph 2000 for sale?

Been into these for years now and fancy a runabout for a while.

I want a tatty but roadworthy car and prefer not an auto,does anyone on here have one for sale and not asking telephone numbers for it?

I need to reduce my storage problem so if you want a very solid, good running 1976 Triumph 2500TC manual o/d saloon. MOT 19 Sep. I have fitted a stainless exhaust, new tyres, water pump, clutch slave, and various service items. The down side is the paintwork, don’t be fooled by the photo every panel is faded with small scratches and rust spots and the n-s front wing has dings from the previous owners grand children leaning bicycles against it. I have owned this car for over 4 years and taken this car for a tour around the lake district and it is very useable. All this for £995 fixed price and I will re MOT it for you but no tax.

Buy this^^^^ it is a bargain. If you don't we will all have to beat you to death with a steering wheel from a Lada.

The rear picture shows a bit more of how poor the paintwork is with the previous owners attempts at home repair. The roof is not shadows but poor paintwork. Interior is pretty good as the car has only done 66,000 miles, maybe the front seats are a bit baggy, the carpets are not worn just old and the ignition key has a broken plastic head and can be a bit awkward to use. I don’t know how it has ended up with 5 owners as my late friend bought it as a young car in 1980 used it for 8 years before parking it up to do some bodywork on it. He moved to a new job but kept the house and the car spent the next 22 years in a dry garage. I bought it in 2010 and recommissioned the car and put it back on the road.

My mate in Shrewsbury has a 2500 manual, good shape but no MOT or TAX. Stag alloys, think he;s after £500 ONO.

The engine, which runs very well and sounds great with it's stainless sports exhaust. The gearbox also changes nicely and the overdrive all work fine.
