BL734 and 735 both survived the war although BL734 suffered a couple of accidents, overshooting once, and running into a Tiger Moth, and doing a belly landing on another occasion.

Here's BL734 with Sq Ldr John Plagis, the top scoring Rhodesian ace.

More scans!

No idea where this is. The fairly compact American car is a 1955 Rambler Country Club, hard to identify the other two..

These two were supposedly taken in Austria. Car could be a Steyr? That would make sense, I guess...

Right hand drive. Various parts of Austria didn't change to driving on the right hand side of the road until the 1930s.

It was a mixed bag in Austria because some parts had better road connections with Germany & drove on the right.  It wasn't until the annexation in 1938 that all of Austria switched over.  It was a similar situation in some of the other former parts of the Austro-Hungarian empire.

That sounds like a complete nightmare! I suppose there weren't that many vehicles around during the 1930s, so maybe not too bad!

They seem to  drive on both sides of the road in India (although officially the left) , with horrific results.
