Looks like it to me, also can you spot the BMW E9, lotus elan with the couple next to it and what looks like a lancia driving in…… it’s like where’s Wally!!

Just behind the lady, perched on the railings by the bus stop, is a Fiat 128 3P.

By the way, the BM is an E3. The E9 was the coupe.

what’s the car between the bus stop and the Cortina?

A Volvo - probably a 140 Series. It's proportions have been slightly stretched by the camera lens.

Its definitely a Volvo, but I had been confused by these rear lights.

Johnny Hogg and his wife riding on an aqueduct pipeline on a Hardley-Dangerous sidecar outfit, 1910. The pipeline ran for about 15 miles through Los Angeles’ Mint Canyon. A few days after this stunt another daring rider on a solo machine attempted the same and found himself in hospital.

In the 1920's Rudge offered a range of sidecars for their motorbikes, along side a caravan, complete with table and bed, was this 14 feet canoe. To quote Rudge - 'The canoe sidecar can be turned round in a circle of 20 feet diameter, which very few motor cars are capable of doing. To river lovers it gives great mobility and makes it possible to become acquainted with half the rivers in the country.'

I like that era of US reckless derring-do. Early flight, Houdini, long distance motor racing and the emergence of the motor industry etc etc.

A lot of it was driven by vicious newspaper circulation wars - with each paper sponsoring and bidding to out-sell it's rivals with these crazy capers

Another daredevil:

British-Indian Kula Bux can still see even when blindfolded. Here he cycles through busy London as a demonstration. England, 1937.
