The MK3 must have a torquey motor the way it's launching.

Interesting car five back. I'm thinking Singer Hunter - it made it to 1972...let's hope it's still with us.

Can't make out the badge on me phone, but Armstrong and Siddeley come to mind.

Interestingly , the Dutch often compare Schiphol with Heathrow , and the British consider Heathrow to be a right Schiphol.

David Wansborough’s Jaguar E-Type Coupe parked in a pond during the 1965 RAC International Tourist Trophy at Oulton Park.

In my humble opinion the bottom of a pond is the best place for an E-Type. Ugly horrible things when compared to it's contempories from Aston Martin, FIAT, Lancia etc.

They seem to be the 'best car in the world' for people with little imagination. Much like a non-motorcyclist seems to think that a Hardly Dangerous is the peak of all motorbikes and something to lust over. Actually they're pretty crap.

A FIAT 642 mobile training centre for tractor mechanics. The two engines are from FIAT's agricultural range. The cab includes a small (very small...) classroom which has a pull down screen to show  instructional films (the film projector can be seen on the open deck).

That very much like the BMC Technical Support Vehicles made in 1959. They were originally designed as mobile classrooms and sent around the country to train mechanics on the servicing and repair of the Mini. Most were then converted into transporters for transporting works rally and race cars about.
