Being a little bored today and feeling like I CBA to get on with any of the many small jobs in the house and garden, I thought I'd watch a bit of BBC iPlayer, since our NZ internet provider so kindly offers a free 'global mode' service. Anyway, 12 minutes in to a crime drama series called Hinterland and the hotel the detective visits looks a little familiar

 

 

Turns out it's the Hafod Hotel! Bonus marks for the production choosing to park a Kettle series Freelander in the same spot as the 206 above.

The Freelander was driven by a main character. Hinterland makes hotel and location look gloomier than it really is!

Bump, was looking for this for some idea of what to expect this year, and am just about to go to the loo, and it'll be a pain to search for the thread on my phone... back at the top now!
