D-Dubya Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 spotted this in manchester, lucky it's still there as the road it's on has been pedestrianised and redeveloped, but it's still there. anonymous user, Squire_Dawson, Banger Kenny and 1 other 4

fordnut Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Dollywobbler will probably know of the former petrol station in Eastgate Street, Aberystwyth which has a sign that displays the old pump prices of around 85p a litre! There are few other defunct garages and main dealers in and around Mid-Wales where the old signage is still evident.
Micrashed Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 On the way out of Blackpool on the A583 is an RAC sign nailed to a tree indicating the presence of a patrol box at the junction of Fox Lane Ends - long gone.

HH-R Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 What the fuck is Buckfast? Is it breakfast for people from Bristol? It's a reddish tonic wine that's got a reputation as "smash the hoose juice", it's got mega amounts of caffeine and sugar in. It's very very sweet and a bit sickly... sort of like drinking cough syrup. Not too bad with energy drink, GR8 4 causing diabetes. brickwall 1

seth Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 This was uncovered during a refurbishment a couple of years ago, and then summarily stripped and painted over. Junkman, AnthonyG, brickwall and 4 others 7
brickwall Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 I know of these signs! Aye, the sign has been repainted though.
Junkman Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 On the way back from Gawsworth on Sunday, right in the middle of I have no idea where, Watagong pointed out a Ford dealership that must serve as a money laundry for some mafia, considering how remote it is, that still has some ancient Ford signs up. Since he can usually be found behind his camera, I bet he has photographic evidence. The place is so far back in the woods, they don't see the sun until noon, I swear. There is a Llama farm nearby, for heavens sake.
capsuleboy Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Wasp killed £20...you should be so lucky. Got quoted £80 last year to get a nest out of my garage. Ended up gaffer tapped into my motorbike gear, to stop them getting up the sleeves or legs or neck, and did it with a £2.99 can from Wilco. Did look a bit of a knob though.
vulgalour Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Would it not have just been easier to torch the garage? Junkman 1
brickwall Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Perhaps.....perhaps... The wasp destroyer guy lives in Milngavie and drives a big posh Land Cruiser. There must be money in wasps and stuff.
