We should invite her to become our honourary patron. We could then abuse the embassy in helping us import Czech chod back to Blighty

Here is a famous Gay Rights campaigner in his Volga , seen here teaching his pacifist boyfriend how to drive and wave at the same time.

This little fella had the misfortune of having to move from Notting Hill to Downing Street, when his smug, slimy twat owner didn't win an election.

Former Lib/Dem MP David Steele used to rally a Ford Zephyr, and the late Alan Clark, apart from his liking for Bentley and Rolls Royce enjoyed his 2cv's and his Porsche running geared Beetle

I think his excellency the pope has an old Fiat to run around in in preference to the bulletproof limousine

Disappointed?   I thought it was going to concern Indian-built Morris Cowleys.  Wounded.

One for the cars and girls thread I think.

Not exactly a claim to fame to be honest, but the former head of Birmingham City Clowncil, Mike Whitby drives a K-reg Rover Sterling. His wife has a Rover 200 Coupe.

Ming Campbell used to have an XJ-S, but he flogged it a few years ago to prove how "green" he was - though it escapes me how flogging an old car that was sitting in a barn was supposed to save the planet (unless it was to a scrappy) ...

^ Ming Campbell flogging his XJS was such a hollow 'green' publicity gesture IMO. He probably had use of a different car for party duties, bet it sat about doing few miles etc.

On the subject of jaaags, I think Musician Pete Docherty had a soft spot for xj40s and reportedly owned several during the noughties.
