I have a clean license and live in a low risk postcode, seven years of no claims and am over 25. 

4000 mile comprehensive policy came out at £889. Too much for me at the moment.

MOT - 

well, I've done about 1500 miles in it since last April.

Previous owner had carried out extensive work on suspension and brakes to get it though its MOT...off the top of my head, it shouldn't need anything to get through.

We were going to do a deal with a pushbike I have, so purchasing is not the problem, it's getting it taxed and back here that's killing the deal.
