Junkman Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Some say I have bought cars merely on the grounds the interiors were horrible.I think it's partially true, I have a knack for the colourful. But you must admit that all of them would go very well with beige exteriors. brickwall, Dippy, Squire_Dawson and 3 others 6

Volksy Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I had a white BMW 325i, which came with a blue interior, everything was blue, the dash, the door panels, the seats etc...

dollywobbler Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 The Americans take some beating, but Europe did at least try in the late 1970s/early 1980s. Anyone else feeling like a Caramac? vulgalour, Jim Bergerac, Junkman and 5 others 8
af1 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 My mrs had a r reg corolla as a courtesy car once (I had pissed off the mechanic) and the interior resembled an old ladies conservatory Sent from my Ericsson GH337 using WAP
Junkman Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 Can this be topped? Yes! laser wheels, vulgalour and Sloth in a bowl 3
Squire_Dawson Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I don't think any of those are particularly bad, apart from those Porsche ones. They really would hurt your eyes after a while. Some of those Yank interiors would be a nightmare to clean. I consider that poor design, in view of the amount of drive-thru McDonald's the average American citizen visits each week... Better to sit in something colourful than a black gloom imho.
michael t Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Always liked the look of this, the Dolomite SE Junkman 1
michael t Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 This from the MK1 Fiesta, Autoshite themed seats Squire_Dawson and Junkman 2

warren t claim Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 How come this has the kit car dash? Junkman 1
Bobthebeard Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Anything brown or orange. A combination of brown and orange would be seriously offensive to the eye. BL it is then?Like 1970's wallpaper, but more horrid. hennabm, Junkman and AlabamaShrimp 3
brickwall Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 There's always that "blue" that Japanese cars had or the burgundy "whores' knickers" that posh Vauxhalls and Opels had. In The Pit, Bobthebeard and Junkman 3
dugong Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 1975CitroenGSBirotor-interior.jpg How come this has the kit car dash? All the Birotors did. This 'kit car dash' thing is a load anyway - the only difference was in the instrument packs.
minolman Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 BMC did some particularly awful animal print tailored seat covers as optional extras in the mid 60s. I once went to see a maroon Wolseley 15/60 fitted with them, ouch! Junkman 1
Junkman Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Citroen DS "Helanca" interiors ftw! Available new: Squire_Dawson and mercrocker 2
