Tidy but boggo Onion -
Price: £4,995.00

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I agree what a berk, Orions are pretty bloody far from being desirable (with the remotely possible exception of the Ghia Injection) and that'll have the bloody CVT gearbox in it which WILL go wrong at some point and is practically impossible to DIY overhaul.

Crap description and photos too. Move the decimal point one place to the left and you're a bit closer

Did you not see Top Gear?!?!?!?! They had an XJS on so it must be worth double or triple what it was worth two weeks ago.

Take a grands worth (at best?) 115k miles mk2 golf gti. Put it in a white room to take some photos, and describe it with pointless references to the name of the bloke that first bought it, and use words like "pleasure" and "joy" when talking about the gearbox on late 80s hatchback . how much is it worth now?

114000 miles...granted it will do another 100 thou but £3k.....? also I had to watch that gay video to see that as the seller forgot to include it inthe spiel.

This guy is a pretender to The Doctor's throne, I don't think the doc has much to worry about though.

It just shows what a skilled practitioner he is, I bet he could get more than £3k for this with his prep skills no problem. This lad is just playing at it. The engine bay is filthy for a start, even a bit of spray on degreaser and a jet-wash would make a massive difference.

If you're gonna ask top dollar you've gotta put a lot of effort in no matter what car you're starting with, i think most people fail to realise that.

Posted

oh, it is! But not £5k nice when it has 55,000 on the clock. Not like it has never been used or something. Rare on a J plate though for sure.

Dear God, check this f*cking melon out.

'THESE ITEMS HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONALLY METALISED,NOT JUST LEFT OUTSIDE TO ROT !'

Marvellous. Why bother nipping down to Machine Mart, paying £23.99 for a new jerry can, 75p on sandpaper then leaving it outside for a couple of weeks when you can spend £250 'professionally' rat looking one?

Posted

To be honest, if those guy's can actually get £250 for a rusty petrol can, bloody good luck to them for proving the phrase "There's one born every minute!"

Posted

To be quite frank I think anyone who purchased one of those is probably keen on rusty bullet holes, never mind fuel cans.
