This car has had one careful owner from new who has loved and cherished it and named it Harold.

Seriously, shut up with this shit you fuckknuckle.

He could have called it Gertie and regularly entered it in drift competitions for all we fucking know.

The 120y's are only outside the church as thats where the owners have just been buried

I know this "barn find" lunacy seems to have got everyone by the bollocks, where pigeon shit is more valuable than paint, but what is anyone bidding on here, an identity?

Can you spot a straight part anywhere? Me neither, Just where do restorers start with such a project, or is it a triggers broom?

Come on, it's already on a fucking trailer. You don't even have to load it.................

Think "how" much "all" those "quote" marks "must" have "cost" "him" and it's a "bargain".

HOW MANY MORE CHANCES WILL THERE BE TO BUY A "NEW DISCOVERY" ISO GRIFO

What? I will take the old Discovery mate, your welcome to this pile of fossil.

I might add......

It does not have its GLASS, HOOD, WHEELS, ENGINE, or TRANSMISSION...

'

( A MATCHING NUMBERS CHEVROLET 327/350 ENGINE BLOCK & "Borg Warner" T-10 TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN ACQUIRED AND WILL BE OFFERED TO THE AUCTION WINNER AT AN ADDITIONAL COST)...

So your basically bidding on a log book and a pile of shit on a completely fucked trailer, sounds gr999.9999 for £25 grand to me. What is wrong with that?

£3995 BIN. Is this really what these are worth?

You'd be surprised. Late, low-mileage Robins are still in demand. I was quite horrified to watch an original Robin project with no MOT hit £830 on Ebay this week!

Posted

Annoyingly, they never seem to fall to giveaway prices, meaning I could buy one for LOLZ until it ended up being rolled

Posted
Well, people still buy ABBA albums too.

but vinyl doesnt degrade

This one's a bit more reasonable. Full MoT and currently going for £31! OK, so it still has nearly seven days to run...

2 grand reserve not met for this lovely* 1974 Datsun 260z which is registered as a 1972 240z

Don't worry though because

This car is based on a 1974 260Z but registered as a 1972 240Z and has been correctly registered as such with the DVLA.

Chassis and engine numbers have been amended with the DVLA and it is HPI clear.

I'm pretty sure that even in Middlesbrough the DVLA are not keen on transferring a VIN onto a previously registered shell.

It's OK - they're traders so they must be right.

Cor, I feel so much more reassured now I've seen their site! No address, "phone this mobile number" or email them all your details to view - they even lie about what county they are in

Rialtos do seem to go for mental money. A lot of it's to with their attractions to bikers for use as winter transport. If you passed your CBT before a certain date and you can drive one on a bike license. Or something.

£3995 BIN. Is this really what these are worth?

No, but there are still some odd people around who will pay it.

When the Tamworth factory was buried under 'executive homes', production transferred for a while to an industrial estate in Burntwood a couple of miles from here, so there are still a few about these parts. Unfortunately... :|

Not sold at £2995 BIN, so she's re-listed it at £3500 BIN. Genius.
