The World is full of fools sure enough. Katie saw a '90 CRX for sale and we went to look at it. From 200 yards I could tell that the thing had been hit more times than Frank Bruno, panel gaps visible from space, Forty Shades of Green, wrong wheels etc. The seller was like this bloke with the MGM. "I'm a trader, I know what it's worth". No, you bell-end, it's worth what you can get for it. Which I estimate to be c £100, as it is now in Tam Paddy's breakers.

Too dear old son. A bit tatty round the front end, and some definite defferent-paint action going on there. And, they're 90 brake not 110, unless it isn't as "Totally standard" as he makes out.

 

I predict he'll get about £600 and it'll be broken for a Mini. :cry:

Why do twats do this? Quite apart from it basically being a knackered Metro (which, let's face it, were crap when they were new), I can't be arsed to wade through this illiterate shouty nonsense. I got about as far as "PERSONAL COLLECTION" before realising life was too short.

Lass at my school had an identical Metro to that (I was secretly jealous at the time with my 1.0 Nova). She totalled it about an hour after passing her driving test, half the front end was ripped off. Her fella's brother 'repaired' it, badly. This one bears a striking resemblence, but it's a long way away from me and I'm sure it's not the only badly repaired MG Metro in the country, made me wonder though...

Looks clean, but alpine white isn't that rare and 7 large for a 318is that doesn't have leather or A/C is wayyyy too much in my book.

 

Then again, even if it did have leather and a/c I wouldn't give more than 3k for it.

Yep, indeed I have. Feelin the Capri love at the minute, but can't justify a fourth car as only 1 of us can drive, and we've a garage full of Vanquish at the minute.

E30 is model is pretty rare, whatever the colour, Difference is like Dolomite to Dolomite Sprint. They are considerably quicker than the bog standard 4 pot, and probaly quicker than a six pot model, rev like billyo [16 valve head]

So I mugged myself by flogging one for £275 about three years back? I thought I was doing well to let it go for that much. They are a nice thing but it's fucking mental to think they're worth anywhere near what he wants.

You did............a pretty tatty one over here went for two large ones recently, and it sold within hours, 18 months previously it sold for £700! Same with 16 valve BX model, prices have rocketed in the last 18 months
