I imagine that Aston Cygnet has only done 4,000 miles because people are embarrassed to be seen in it.

They certainly hold their value though!

I though it was the Uno turbo engines that people plonked into the X1/9's? Or is it the same unit?

Anyway, at just £3,500 this is a BARGON...

How you ask? Well let the seller tell you...

You read that correctly...

Cocking hell....

At the risk of starting a hideous political debate - I'd say this was a manifestation of one of the EU's sillier ideas.

I've seen one Cygnet in the wild (loads parked up at AML) and that was in Fakenham, of all places.

The only one I've ever seen was parked up outside Termini Station in Rome.

There's 11 grands worth of colour co-ordinated, Titanium-Butane jumpleads behind the driver's seat.

How the hell has he spent £51 grand on that? Looks like £5100 worth of parts at the most

Spend fifty one grand on parts, sell car for three and a half - Barrynomics at its finest.

This fuckwit is still trying to sell his "petrol" cap for 100 quid, and still hasn't twigged what the "OEL" inscription on the top and the oily deposits on the inside mean.

It is indeed, they roped something in to level out their emissions statistics as they only make GTs etc usually. Something like that anyway, don't quote me etc.

The only place I've ever seen one was parked on the waterfront of Lake Geneva - it was in a disgusting yellow colour, like the one you got on early E46 M3s.

Exactly - you weren't allowed to sell cars unless you had an average emissons across your whole range below a certain value.

I'm sure this is very nice as Corrados go, and it's in a white room which adds a couple of grand to its value immediately, but still, fuck me.

LOL at that Ronda 60cord

To me that Vitesse and CX don't seem overpriced, expensive? Yes, but if they're as good as they sound both probably cheaper than starting with an average one and trying to get perfect, plus with the CX you've got the one owner thing.

My way of deciding if something is overpriced, is to say to myself " If I could afford it, would I pay that much?" And for both of those the answer would be yes .

As for that 4 owner no service history 600....... Maybe not so much.

cast boot hinge from a Range rover classic complete with old hinge pin rusted in place. drilling out the pin is possible but at the cost of your drill bit sharpness.

At best "mates rate" + postage

from these guys £49.99

Verdict : scrap prices are on the way up
