Who remembers that awesome car, the BMW 320IS?

You know, the E30 with a pov spec interior, high-ride suspension but the thumping 2litre six cylinder engine developing 192 bhp!

What, you've never heard of it?

Well have a look at this one, the chap only wants £12k.

This Car is one of the finest examples of Citroen Workmanship on the road today.

Can you register a Tata Nano over here?

Also, does that E30 really have a 190bhp 2litre engine?

I offered £1:37.

I've offered this amount to several morons that place idiotic listings, and some of them get quite upset! :D

The listing does say ready for uk roads but that doesn't really explain anything as far as registering etc.

I doubt two and a half grand is otr price either.

I'd roll in that just for a laugh. I've mailed the seller asking him a few questions, let you know what he says when he replies!

I would imagine you'd need to get that Nano SVA'd, or whatever they're calling it these days - it can't be any more unsafe than some of the kit cars that make it onto our roads, surely? Emissions might be a bit of an issue though...

You bad man! :D

It sure does.

Just been reading up on it, I'm rather impressed.

Not convinced its 12k worth though.

Is one of those questions 'will you swap for a Corsa automatic?'

If not I'm sure we will all be very disappointed.

Two questions:

What the fuck is a stepney?

Are these things even legal to sell in Europe? You know, type approval, crash testing and all that jazz.

The Stepney bit had me confused too. (And I used to live there!).

Curious about the legality of this horror in the UK, I emailed TATA Motors and asked if it met UK legislation for road vehicles, be interesting to see what they say in reply...

Turns out MIRA (I thought they made showers  ) crash tested one.

A frontal collision doesn't look to nice for the driver's arms and legs, but it probably beats being squished in a G-Wizz.

Who'd want one anyway? Aixam are already building this kind of guff and they don't exactly fly off the shelves. 8)

I expect they'd knock a few out to to 'green' types who are thinking of the environment by buying a small, 'economical' car as well as those who want a brand new car without realising it's probably worse than a 25 year old Lada Riva that's been used in a salt mine and never serviced.

That said I'd definately have just because it's probably absolutely awful and likely to be a nightmare to live with. What else could you possibly ask for?

Good point. If G-Wizzes are road legal the surely the Nano must be.

Been a lot of talk about them being sold here in future but yet to see any real evidence of it happening.

Buying one of those would make for instant shite hero status...

It looks as though it should have sweeping brushes mounted on the front and be driving around the town centre in the pedestrian precinct.

it has a cute wee face!

aaawwwwwwww

Needless to say, if I showed that to SWMBO, she'd want it too!

Looks more Magic Mushroom than Magic Iris, but it's class alright and needs to be over here on sale.
