Basic E21s fetch five figure sums? Since when?

Exactly my point, the clueless folk see a 'similar'* car for big dollars and think they are sat on a huge profit

*Not similar at all....but a old BMW

I would love to twat people who do this round the head with a BFO torque wrench, a mid 1980s or possibly later car pretending to be a tax exempt classic. Utter cunts

Only 6 registered keepers, plus probably the same number of traders. . Even Ford Mentalist Millionaires would want a one owner for that price , not that I'd ever even suspect it's had a little haircut between MOTs or owners.

I wonder if they thought it would take a day or two for the MOT history site to update?  Says in the ad they want it gone within 24 hours!

£250 for an MOT failure Rowenta? £2.50 more like. Budget new column, new tyres, cambelt and water pump, aux belts, new brake calipers, discs and pads and some bulbs and new engine mounts, that's a lot of expense for such a worthless heap of dogshit, why a cambelt? well if the PAS belt is kippered, just imagine the state of the cambelt. Been maintained on a budget of 27p a year, and expect it to kettle at some point

Whilst I am not averse to custom bikes, whether they be chops, bobbers, street scramblers or street fighters, I do object to poorly executed work, disguised with some shiny paint.

No excuse for the exhaust on this-surely two minutes thought would have sorted it out.

Except that plate isn't included, which means you can't even check if they're pulling the old "five digit odometer" lark when they say it's got 24,000 miles.

Anyway - collectors dream, "the owners personal car" (what?)... £3950

Those Suzukis were not great when new, and they must feel even worse now. It definately looks worse now than it did when new from the factory.

Admittedly it's a very rare early 900. Nice, but not 15 grand nice, especially for a 4-speed non turbo version with mismatched mats and a crappy rear plate...

Stunning time-warp survivor

On the contrary, it looks like it has suffered bitterly through every day of that 15 year lay up

But that interior, Worth it to me!

I've never seen a triple green interior on something that hasn't come from 1970s Detroit.

Fifteen grand and the owner couldn't be arsed to sort out a pair of matching font numberplates, *tchoh*

What else would you do with 65k?

In fact I just had a look, and buying two Escort Mexicos for the same price might be a better investment if you want to buy into ye olde world rally scene.
