richardthestag Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Take one utterly broken and rusty Softdash Range Rover Classic CVC registered Range Rovers could mean Press P38 or factory runout softdash classic Autobiography. Eitherway interest continues to climb. So baffling then that rather than fixing the diff, waterpump, sills, inner wings and boot floor, Lob the best part of £1k worth of cheap tat at it and a couple of OLLI stickers Advertise it as off road only! Great for the local square mile of Pay and Play site on which most of the cheap tat is utterly pointless.Oh and you have to trailer it to and from the site for which you will need a 4 wheel braked trailer and something rated to tow over 2.5 tonnes .. Like a road legal Range Rover To you my son 7 bags DOH http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CLASSIC-RANGE-ROVER-/201758305720?hash=item2ef9bb6db8:g:0ZkAAOSwAuZX5Chb Verdict OLLITWAT check out what is it up against... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1994-LAND-ROVER-RANGE-ROVER-CLASSIC-SOFT-DASH-LSE-/222366440064?hash=item33c6129a80:g:7WMAAOSwXeJYD3fN Banger Kenny, srad34 and Junkman 3
sierraman Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 £70 more likely. Is £4,000 the magic number to advertise a complete heap of shit at. That Nova a page or so back even has the authenticity of a spray of underseal on the back of the sills post MOT plating.

I used to bend the needle on the bump stop with my chooned and balanced 997 oversquare block and high ratio diff But Someone cut a couple of winders into the sides doesnt appear to have been Mot'd since the mid 1970s and is NOT recognised by Doovla, no V5 nor any chance of getting one - unless a complete fruit loop manages to get it up and running. Thrown into the bargain is that the front suspension is shortly going to launch at least one road spring into a stable orbit To you mon brave £1500 verdict - some nice spares on itand I have an itch for a 105E again Junkman and LC Torana 2

I had a G reg one of these in about 1996 and I think I paid less that £5k for it then. That digital dash is doing well, mine developed some VERY strange habits and eventually stopped working altogether.
Steve79 Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Definitely not diesel. My mum had a 1990 1.6 dgt back in the late 90's. Drove ok for the most part but always felt underpowered. Tailgate was massive on these and weighed about 3.5 tonnes. Bit of wiki history check DGT, (early Italian market DGT models were badged as 'digit', presumably in recognition of the digital dash, but this was quickly changed to DGT after a dispute over ownership of the name, leading to confusion about whether the model was diesel-powered.
