12k on a car !!! Madness

Don't forget that when you are "into cars" and at the same time not "into football", but "into motorsports", you are automatically familiar with every nook and cranny of Bernie Ecclestone's monkey circus.

In one of my (rather shit) former job "placements" a couple of people found it impossible to understand that I was not "into motorsports" or any kind of "sports" despite being "into cars". To quote one of them, "well, you gotta bey inta sum sort of sports mayte, sureley?" (sic)

TS300 - I say point your 'mayte' towards some sort of late plated Focus and be done with it. If he continues to annoy you, just be truthful.

Still woulden't know what to do with the remaining £11,500 though.

You could buy this house in Middlesborough. Here, hop in my Aston Martin Cygnet and I'll take you on a viewing.

Located in Middlesborough's fast moving (a constant 640mph based on its distance from the equator) South Bank district, this urban-rustic fronted property enjoys such modernities as uPVC double glazed window and high level ventilation holes. The living room window offers a vista of unimaginable delights including a futuristic metal clad terraced home and a man in striped shirt suspiciously eyeing the Google StreetView camera.

Step into the living/dining/kitchen-bathing room... in here you'll notice... the... cosy, hang on, suspicious man is prying the badge off my Cygnet! HEY! YOU! HEY! HEY! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?! IT IS NOT A FUCKING TOYOTA.

I think I can thank Conrad for putting an end to my house hunting in Middlesborough, that's clearly just the property I'm looking for and just about in budget for the sort of 20 year mortgage I could get.

Indeed, I mean a Ford Probe would have to be picked by you 'Alan Partridge' as played by Steve Coogan who also played 'Gareth Cheeseman' who drove a Ford Probe .....and breath.....

Funny how things link up. Innit?

Hey, record breaking Indians were built in less posh digs.

Well, if anyone had an image problem, it was Cheeseman.

"Is that your Ford outside sir?"

"The Ford Probe, yes. What about it?"

A class act.

Could get a lovely fleet of 12 cars for £12k, or I could probably get the Xm a nut and bolt rebuild for 12 large. I know which I'd prefer to do as well

Let me guess - buy a 62-plate VW Golf 1.2 TSI in silver metallic, right?

Most utterly wrong! 1.2 would be utterly shit at going up the hills around here with any kind of speed and refinement! I presume this is in refrence to the golfist thread? She's going slowly off the idea, and I have a prank lined up to put her off even more. She likes Rav4s now...
