Saw this at the supermarket car park yesterday, seems like a lot of car for £10k with a 'lifetime warranty'

We paid £9k for an 18 month old Picasso in 2003!

I didn't mean for anyone here to buy, just thought it was cheap for a 'new' car.

Ten grand for that is a real bargain, especially as you can drag the warranty out for a decade or so.

With ten grand I'd buy a good DS or an excellent P6 but I can see the appeal of that red thing if you just want an easy life without buses.

I still sooner walk I think, my sister works for a large main dealers down south and was showing me some of the staff discounts she can get for family, I was getting excited by a 6 month old Focus ST-3 in performance blue yesterday which she could save me £4000, it was still £20000 though.

I'm thinking about giving up on shite cars next year about my recent adventures and buying a newish Fiat 500 Twinair for my wife to use, she can save me £2000 on the forecourt price of a used one of them.

At least we now know how long VXLs (which R ALL SHIT M8) are designed to last...

What is it? I can't tell in the phone, and I'm not sure I would recognise it anyway. It looks like a barried mk1 Zafira.

Where are you getting the seven years from? I thought it was 100,000 miles time unlimited for the first owner.

I see it now, ta. Not sure why we cant in the top one.

That is pretty cheap, but is that deal only on finance? I bet if you walked in off the street with £9,999 they would tell you to FRO. Is it £199pm over a period of 6 years or summink?

Not a bad price, however, with my experience of my girlfriends new Vauxhall the lifetime warranty means getting anally raped with a red hot poker by the twat on the dealership service desk every year. 'that's correct sir, we'd like to fit a new pollen filter for £100.00' Not joking about that either, utter twats.

Buy it and service it a normal garage.

WHAT THE FUCK! Who gives a shit about the price of new Zafiras?

Not me, my latest daily driver cost the equivalent of 5 weeks payments on it but hey, new Dacha's and Kia's and the like are discussed on here so why not this eh?

Just to balance things up for Len, I saw this too but it wasn't for sale so we can't discuss the price of it.

I threw the same money at a dealer for a pre-registered hyundai i20 a few years ago.

I was bored of it so traded it for a 2 year old 500,

got bored with that and traded it for a Panda.

Wish I'd kept the money in the bank and my 8 year old Yaris instead :(

Don't do it.

That is a lot of new car for the money. no good for me, everyone else has got one, I enjoy the exclusivity of having the oldest car in the works car park by a considerable margin. I didn't buy my first sierra until 15 years after they stopped making them and all the 2.4 children families had moved onto the mondeo.

One of the reasons (besides the big one, lack of money) that I don't think I'll ever buy a new/nearly new car is that at first it'd be great, but after about 3 months I'd be bored and stuck with a BFO finance bill/watching my 'investment' piss itself away each day.

In todays market though ten large seems quite good for a car like that.
