I have literally no idea what that even means JM. Soz.

In continued live news, ConcreteZone has been successfully passed.DSCN6822.jpg

And Train Near Miss Bonus upgrade has just been unlocked. They're quite stealthy.

It's getting very warm now. I hope the aircon is gassed up on the Trabant.

That Trabant looks a perfect shitefest mobile.

I like that the trains in Bulgaria have wing mirrors... :-D :-D

go and ask the fiero man if its protestant and catholic then use angle grinder :D

That Trab looks ideal for a trip to Wales in a fortnight or whatever.

I like this Graffiti, and all that concrete, and the dual gauge railway and the Fiero but not the Trabant so much.

So, the live Trabant update capabilities ceased shortly after the owner produced a 2 litre bottle of Rakia from under his desk at the train station. He was in charge of/sole person at the station and we got right royally treed on v.strong booze whilst he didn't even pretend to care about the passing trains, customers etc. There was lots of Ebay-type talk from him along the lines of 'it ran fine when I parked it there six months ago' and 'I know what they're worth' but we struck a provisional agreement of 400 Leva (£160ish) on the proviso that he turns up here with it running. He promised it will run fine with fuel, a charged battery, the blood of a virgin kitten, whatever. We will see.

Here's the rest of the spots and shiz from that day beginning with my proudest. It took pap-ninja skills to get my camera out quick enough to catch this Corsa ESTATE. Never even knew they were a thing.

More new friends.

DSCN6851.jpg

The next day (or maybe the day after, the whole of the last week has been a drunken fog) we were in a bar in town and I grabbed a few spots.

DSCN6868.jpg

DSCN6871.jpg

A truly crap shot of the white Lada I spotted the other week at DriftNob's Roundabout.

DSCN6869.jpg

This opportunistic bastard is always cruising around town, removing whichever car they fancy. Surprisingly* they never touch the black AMGs/A8s/X6s that the Bulgarian mafia ponce about in.

DSCN6873.jpg

Ten minutes after I took this photo, this lovely Lancer reappeared from the other direction on the back of the bastard 'spider' truck.

DSCN6867.jpg

Yesterday, or maybe the day before, can't quite remember, myself and Lady_B took a walk down the train tracks in the other direction because we enjoyed the Trabant hunt so much. On the way we saw the Skoda I nearly bought/am still trying to buy, alongside a relative.

DSCN6875.jpg

There were some nice abandoned stations and stuff along the tracks.

Adrian, ADRIAN!!!

DSCN6874.jpg

Along with a full series of pictures of just Bulgarian taxis, I also want to do a collection of crusty sills and arches. Nearly everything here has religious bodywork.

DSCN6876.jpg

And finally, for anybody who has met the Malham Autoshite royalty, am I imagining things or does this look just like a perfect amalgamation of Joe and Will?

DSCN6866.jpg

Excellent work as ever, have an AutoShite merit star in your homework book.

The Trabbie looks slightly fucked, are you sure it's a good idea?  On a completely different subject, is there such a thing as Eastern Bloc RAC that will cover you to the UK?

Much love for the brutalist architecture.

LOLzorzz! Looks like Will's continental twin!
Possibly his new avatar :)

For Mrs_KJ, could you please carefully place that ginger and white kitten on the Trabbie's parcel shelf, and I'll see you in Wales. Payment will be made in good, northern ale.

Not really, no, but I'm sure it'll be fine.

Joe, how about one (or all) of these from the abandoned house next door?

No news is bad news on the Trabant front so far.

The owner didn't bring it round at the allotted time and all my phone calls to the train station he works at have gone unanswered. I'm going over there tomorrow to see what the score is but the timetable for getting some/any transport to SF15 is looking tight now.

I can at least provide a few spots from the last couple of days.

Also, to add a bit of interest*, I'm premiering a new feature called 'Where's Barbara?'. For anybody who is really bored/can be arsed to look, Barbara Cartland Dog (the Marketing Director of Cavcraft) is hiding somewhere in one of the following spots. Where is Barbara?

The prize for finding the dog is my best wishes. For anyone who doesn't know what Barbara looks like, here he/she is piloting the General Lee as an example.

Anyway, on with the fun*.

Hey Alex, I bet the Beaver driver would be an interesting/useful chap to know. I hope you stuck a note under his wiper.

And this...

Yes, he posted somewhere that he'd got back home.  There were cats involved, too.  News 24 thread?

Yeah, I got back to BG late on Wednesday.

Thanks for your concern* Junkman.

In return have a couple of pictures featuring old American cars, the genesis of automatic gearboxes and lots of people with their sleeves firmly rolled all the way down.

I'll update with all the recent shenanigans when I get a chance or when I can be arsed or when relations with Lady_B defrost enough for her to let me have the new wi-fi password.

At this point I would really like to post some photos of the recent spectacular failure to get to Wales, featuring FTP's, drunk hitchhiking and squirting lake mussel sickness. Unfortunately Lady_B was the designated papper as I was saving my camera battery for the big weekend and the 'nice little holiday' I promised her and didn't deliver is a bit of a sore point. Every time I begin to ask for the photos she fixes me with the cold dead-eyed stare of a killer, silently daring me to continue speaking. I believe that in the manual this is classed as Look No.3, variation B.

So, in the meantime I'll attend to the spotting housekeeping from the last couple of days.

First up, I managed to track down the Corsa Estate that shot past me in town the other week. It's a TD.

In and amongst all the little cobbled streets here in the old town, the binmen roll in fantastic UAZ 452's.

Bulgarian bin wagon.

A view of a cat out of the window, giving me the very same evil stare that Laby_B has been performing.

DSCN6959.jpg

Yesterday, I had a nice relaxing sit down by a monument in the town centre and reeled in a couple more spots.

This is here less for the 1.2 Ibiza with four exhausts and more for the proof of real-life ladies.

DSCN7094.jpg

This is at least the fourth different 164 I've seen around this area.

DSCN7093.jpg

DSCN7090.jpg

For modern shite fans, a Hyundai Elantra and a Ssangyong Thingummybob.

DSCN7091.jpg

As I was sat there I heard a loud clunk following by a grinding noise. Then I saw this guy running across the road chasing a wheel.

DSCN7088.jpg

As I turned to my right I could see what had happened (and tried to stifle laughter). He's gone and 'done a Beko'.

DSCN7089.jpg

And for anyone who didn't find Barbara in the earlier thrilling installment of 'Where's Barbara?', he's in the top left window guarding the Astra.

DSCN6888.jpg

That's it. I'm tired now.
