They have introduced a limit of 1TB for all accounts, which is basically the same as unlimited. It's no use to anybody though, because you can't easily browse through older pictures.

 

One of the reasons I had to give up on Flickr was because I used to look at it on my phone quite a lot and mobile friendly sites can't be viewed on a mobile phone- and even if they could I don't want to waste my data allowance on downloading content that I didn't ask for.

 

I am very close to giving up on the internet altogether, more and more sites are becoming unusable thanks to improvements*.

Picasa no longer exists, it's merged into Google+ which means it's a pain in the arse to browse on a slower computer, and is all form over function.

The most annoying thing about FlickR is seeing everyone else's pictures on your home page instead of your own and the fact they've made sharing (using other websites) to sodding fussy.

I love seeing other peoples pictures and getting messages to say they've uploaded but I prefer to see my things as they were.

I did, but that was when I had money.........A marriage and an 18 month old child has ensured that I shall now be using free interwebs sites for photo hosting, and quite possibly raking through bins for a decent meal for the next 20-odd years!!

I have one I use in emergencies when Photobucket is being crap. I just checked and it seems the same as ever. Test:

 

 

It's just a bit of a pain to get the code - I have to do like we do to show ebay images.

That's why I've liked Photobucket, it's so easy there. Or it was before they dicked it all up a couple months back. Actually it was ok for a week or two after the new version came on, but now they've done away with both infinite scrolling and the view all button. Why oh why?

 

You can get a lot (5Gb) onto a free Google account using Picasa, and when one fills up you just open another (free) account using a different e-mail address.

 

I've done that with PBucket! Three and counting...
