Only if you look like Danny Devito!

Don't recall Newman or Wagner racing THAT...

They aren't devoid of taste. To the contrary. Bad taste they have a good one.

However, before there were any Zimmers, there was Les Dunham.

WTF are you on about man? I'm with John on this, they're hideous, and not in a good way.

I'm with neither of you two. I like them.

The Zimmer is a fox body mustang underneath all that retro crap

Any country that sells Beaufort kit cars has no business criticising others...................

compared to this even the Beaufort has a restrained elegance about it.............

this is the only circumstance when that statement could be true.

*picture of a lot of chrome shaped vaguely like a car*

I wonder if it sounds like a really big set of keys on a tiny keyring as it drives along? The Liberace in me likes Zimmers and Tiffanys and all the other ridiculous chrome-festooned quasi-retro 70s and 80s carbuncles. There is no opposing force to the Liberace in me.

This reminded me of when Les Pretend in the Beano dressed up as Des Lynam but called himself Les Dynam. That was one of the most memorable moments of the 90s for me.

I'm with you. Proven, many times now, and even currently! 8) I love 'em!

so hideous even the chrome on the steering wheel doesn't want to be seen with the rest of the car

I'm drinking heavily and I still don't think this is a good idea. To put that into perspective I consented to getting a genital piercing after drinking less.

I could see myself driving a Les Dunham Corvorado to Biarritz with Ashton Gardner & Dyke's Resurrection Shuffle in the Eight Track and not fuggin blending into traffic all the fuggin way. Won't happen though, only seven were built.

The world would be a whole lot more bling-bling-shite laden today, had some designers in 1970s Detroit been a bit more assertive.

But alas. Sanity and 'good taste' had to prevail and turn the world into the dismal boring pile of shit it is today.

Junkman, I want to give you a prize made out of absurd hubcaps and radiator grilles for posting those pictures.

Cheers Junkman for the art

I can picture every single one of those still gently rocking back and forth on soft suspension - with one slighty squeeky bush :P - a full 20 mins after parking up.

Back onto op Zimmer. surprised the sella didnt think to mention easy for kids to drive - or is that Mr Devito? Maybe fellow hobbit Rhea Perlman is on the passenger side?

verdict: I believe there is room in this world for that genre of vehicle, but would I own one? Not this side of insanity I am afraid.
