"Hi, I want to sell most of my Princess parts, which include many many new parts such as body panels, fuel tank, unused Gold Seal short engine (2200), suspension parts, engine parts, grilles, bumpers, chrome trim, other interior and exterior trim, electrical parts.

Almost all the new body panels have been shotblasted and primed, so they are in perfect condition!

Other interesting parts are Hollandia sunroof, several displacers.

I hope to find someone who will make me a nice offer for the total job lot and will collect it at my place in Holland.

In the meantime I will offer some of the parts on Ebay, starting coming weekend. This will be limited to some smaller parts, since I'm not able to pack and ship the larger parts."

Seriously, there's epic Princess spares overload (other superlatives available) here and I'm sat here crying into my Earl Grey at the thought of missing out on all this.

Whole rear quarter panels.

Doors without rust.

Brown interior trim, it's nicer than the black stuff.

Difficult to get arch trims, of which I need at least two.

A plethora of stuff and a highly desirable (to me) brown steering wheel.

I think this is a hearse back door.

Whole rear valance. Mines okay, but this would be better.

A whole front end, I could really do with this.

I need a wing like this too.

Maybe it's useful to someone else, I know there's a couple of Princesses knocking about on here. Sadly, this is one that I'm going to have to miss out on completely, what a bummer.

Thats a disaster VA no chance of persuading the fella to let you have a piece or two on lay-away? Wing and a valance would be very useful

You win some, you lose some. My Princess is perfectly functional as she is and if I'm honest with myself I don't have the storage here for big parts and what with fixing the BX and putting the Princess into daily duties and planning a house move and getting well I've probably got enough on my plate without epic Holland trips for wedge panels.

Don't Shiply do international rates?

See if watanabe will fashion that lot into a rudamentary car and drive it back?

You just described the development of the Ambassador.

Don't worry about it too much Volks. There was a time when parts like these came up for sale for Rover 800s and I simply couldn't afford the time and didn't have the knowledge or confidence to rake I those parts, eventually though, I managed to find just as gold spares and have amassed so much stuff, its mildly worrying. As has been said, you win some you lose some. As determined as you are Volks, you will find another, more local source of parts in just as good a condition.

He wants about £1200 for the lot. That's not a lot of cash for a heck of a lot of spares, especially considering a metal front wing alone will set you back £60-90, let alone rarer panels like the front and rear valance and those rear quarters that are pretty much pure unobtanium. *flail* OH WELL NEVER MIND.

Is that the chap with the limo Princess? that is especially hot, is he getting out of Princesses and Ambassadors completely?

I wonder if 109landys3 has seen this, doesn't he have the Princess hearse mid-restoration?

I have seen it, and mailed the guy. I'll take the whole lot if i'm not too late!

And I am due to be in Holland next week anyway! :)

@109: It makes me happy you're making efforts to acquire this lot :D Almost as happy as if I were acquiring it myself.
