Halfords car park. Purple bug behind it belongs to a guy that works there. Not the original builder, but a long-term owner.

My best spot of the year so far? The Humber Imperial was a bloody good one:

....

Seems this hasn't been on the road since September 2013 and is recorded as SORN. Wonder who owns it?

It was on private property in an industrial area

I'm still wondering what it is ???

A CX 2.5ltr saloon converted into some sort of ride-on platform for use in parades, etc.

I think I've seen something similar years ago as a cycle team support car

I’ve seen a jag done out like that at a banger track for parading the winners of certain races around. Stand in the back and hold on to the top rail across the roof. It’s a possibility

Yes, it's french so probably for that little race they seem so keen on. Bit of a tour.

The fact that we seem to be seeing more Proton Sagas turning up in apparently cherished condition these days rather than just run into the ground makes me far happier than it probably should.  I still would really love to actually run one as a daily for a while as I've always liked the look of them and enjoyed the one I had as a "field" car prior to passing my test.

Wasn't actually a field car...There was a couple of mile long fully paved private road belonging to a farm about 100 yards from our house, and we had agreement from the owner that I could drive up and down there to my hearts content provided I didn't get in the way.  So my "field" cars were actually just as well looked after as though they were on the road normally and contrary to the case of most cars belonging to a 13-17 year old, most left my ownership in better condition than they entered it.

I always saw them as the next generation of the Ladas.  Simple, robust, comfy and just generally competent.

I rather expect I'd need to pay more than the £20 I paid for G499ORS to get hold of one these days though!

Sadly I took a lot more video than film so there was a lot more I can't show you. But still, really nice to see

And whilst I'm here I might as well show you some street spots too

Seems there's a Proton Owners Club here. Didn't know that.

I was at the garage the other day and they a chok full of rammell. SAAB 96, Midas Gold, Morgan, Landcrab Rally car, Volvo 244, Mk2 Cortina and about 20 minis plus several others I've forgotten. Fucking brilliant. Feel a bit rude taking photos to plaster over t'interweb though.

S2 Bentley, or Mk 3 Jag? I think the latter.

So I started googling the Bentley I spotted earlier and it seems to be well photographed car.

Here it is turning up at a timber yard in East London to pick up some wood. A job for which it is ideally suited.
