I'm sure I've seen a picture of this same car about a year ago, the arse hadn't completely fallen out of it like in this shot, but was well on its way.

Do you know where? It'd be interesting to see the 'progress'.

It's situated in a very damp and windy place near the sea (Scotland).

Are the suspension spheres any good?

A little later I was leaving a car park when I spotted this splendid looking Jaguar.

The wheelie bins are the only post 1976 thing in this photo.

Wow, that's quite some bump. I hope the driver/passengers were OK.

Nothing about it in the local press, its on a straight section of a main road. Anyone in the passenger side rear would have been seriously injured.

Just spotted this in the parking lot at work today. One word to describe it...Sizeable

spotted at Kentmere in the lake district on Saturday. Nothing else of note the whole weekend car wise. Non-car wise the weather was brilliant up on the fells.

My motorbiker friend tells me their known as jampots because of the large diameter rear suspension.

About 1954, 500cc I think ?

Not sure (I was much more interested when I rebuilt the Matchless in 1992/3) but it's either a 350 (like mine) or a 500. Later than mine as it has the bigger oil tank and faired headlamp. And that's about all I remember, apart from yes, because of the shape and size of the rear shock/spring units. They were also available as hard tails, not sure if the lack of jampots stopped them being called that. Umm, one of the first bikes to have hydraulic forks, the GL3 (Mines a G3LS, the S is for springer) were used in WWII.

Ooh, I almost forgot, there's a video here -

There hasn't been much to see round here of late but then I stumbled across this beast - I've previously seen a Bedford Midi in the same place so I wonder if they're connected. Hadn't seen one of these for ages.

Great period colour, presumably will end up red if it survives.

I thought 'Ooh, Civic' for a moment until I remembered Trigger's one. Struck me how small it was compared to what's around it too.
