I take my hat off to UK Senator's spots! Many I recognise, particularly that Transit with "345 CDL" as its number! I also think I saw the Underground bridge over the road at Barnet Hill in there somewhere....

I went for a long drive into London yesterday and I feel sure I saw more classic cars in use. I was in the 33 and I saw quite a few old-style Beetles and a fair number of M.G.s too. Of course, many have discovered that classics are exempt the U.L.E.Z. charge, so may be London will be come a more vehicular diverse place in the future....

Yesterday I popped to Hampstead, I had no particular reason to use the Capri but with the ULEZ I took it. An ironic side effect of the system...

I know the owner of that Transit, he has a particular fondness for Mk5s!

Got my pics developed from the other day. Any clues as to what this Q-reg thing is?

Please ignore the laptop at the back packing in. It's having a bad day.

There's something cute about that. Canny be much demand for these though, I mean, how many intense milk float/police chases are there these days?

I've been spotting this Volvo for years but now it's for sale so I won't be seeing it again (unless Daisy gets her way and I buy it).  There's a phone number you can PM me for, I've not rung it as despite walking several miles to get the photo I must not buy it.

Tidy looking 9000 spotted today, unfortunately there was no room to park my 9-5 beside it for a father & son shot.

This 126 used to be part of an annual festive display in the lobby, with a roof rack of seasonal delights and (sometimes) a Father Christmas mannequin behind the wheel.

These days, it's not looking so chipper.

A very down-at-heel Standard Ten, in a walled garden area. Pretty crispy, and missing quarterlights won't be doing it many favours either. No wonder its mascara is running.

60cc (?) Laverda scooter, still wearing what looks like its original Republic of Ireland number plates.

At least this one's kept under cover - I know bugger-all about scooters, but this can't be a common thing?

My local garden centre used to have a purple Reliant Rialto on the entrance to the car park, minus windows and filled with flowers, gone now though

It's hard to know whether to put such things in the abandoned thread, or the spotted thread...

There was another place near to us that had the mortal remains of a Beetle 1303 filled with flowers, but it closed a fair few years ago now.

I can remembers the Viva Owners Club getting Very Cross Indeed in the late '90s about some garden centre in England who had knocked the windows out of a really clean, really early HC Viva and filled the interior with soil and petunias...

Saw this on my way home last week,

1985 Citroën BX Leader EIMG_20220405_154350.thumb.jpg.68389e0b6741346ed6d177eb45512522.jpgIMG_20220405_154341.thumb.jpg.965033e1d5267008afc90d98aa205cb5.jpg

Right around the corner from there, there used to be 2 BX's(both green)(spelling is difficult), and later also a Peugeot 309
