Thanx folks,

Any ads with photos i will promote to featured ad.

I am also doing small forum on there just to discuss stuff advertised.

If anyone could promote it elsewhere for me i would be grateful.

Cheers

Mike

Get yourself set up on facebook and twitter for the site and cross promote it there. On twitter you can actively follow people, if they follow you back (maybe 1 in 4-5 will) then anything your post will appear in their feed. If you drop in the odd interesting car and a bit of banter (don't flood it with every car you get) you'll soon find people clicking on the twitter and facebook links, visiting the site and using it.

Google is swamped now so you'll not be found initially through natural listings and adwords cost a lot of ££ so you need to plug it via social media. I did a course on it last year and helped a few people since with bits and bobs. My brother in law setup a site with funny meme type pictures in it. He did what I just described on twitter and within a week he's got 120 people following him and his website hits have went up. The more who follow you the more will follow you is the general rule. The only downside is you need to put a bit of effort into it.

Also if I was you I'd cherry pick a few adverts from gumtree and stick them on the site so it looks like you've got stuff in it. No-ones going to care if you help them sell their car and if they do they'll soon let you know.
