Guest
Well, as before, if you're a tad more specific other than 'I want a pre 72 car and it has to be less than £600' we can have a think and let you know.

RoadworkUK
Not wanting to poke my nose in, but can I suggest changing your thread title to something like "Wanted; pre '72 sub £600 car"? That way, if somebody here has a pre 1972 car that they are looking to sell for less than six hundred pounds, they'll read the thread and respond. Hope you find a very nice car. Bobthebeard
As a relative newbie on here I have had a 'virtual shoeing' for posting daft threads. Am so glad it's your turn!
Morgan84
Plenty of pre 72 restoration projects available for up to 600,it just depends how much time and effort you want to put into them. Morris Minor will be a easy find,as will something like a Rover P6,or maybe a 1100/1300.

Morgan84
In fairness,he might find what he's looking for at a classic car auction. There is one near to me which has at least a couple of auctions a year, and they have the typical old Morris Minor, mixed in with a few 80's BMW's and other things, but there is always something which goes for little money. It's usually something like a Rover P6,or a hand painted Beetle. In contrast, they do sell MK2 Jaguars for £14000 so its a case of there's something for everyone
