Sacrebleu!

I'm picturing that attached to a familiar testicle branded A frame in it's way back over.

I sold my maestro van to a frenchman who had never driven a RHD before, I had to grab the steering wheel off him while he test drove it to avoid him taking out a line of parked cars

They have been good enough to respond already. A fair distance down France towards Bordeaux, but co-incidentally I have a good friend a few miles further south that should be able to store till I get there.

So -negotiations now progressing.

I’m surprised that ticks any boxes for you Bicklethwaite! These things are not great A-framers, the slightest hill slows them down to 20mph! But in all other respects they are great.

I use old vans quite a lot for light building shite. We're fortunate enough to own a few rental/ letting properties -and some tenants extract it properly.

Latest has painted our entire house (in Hastings) matt black! Walls, ceilings, glass, windows, doors etc. Every single space. Then done a runner -with the boiler, half the kitchen etc etc etc

Enough. My Barkas is doing a sterling job -but its a bit too quirky; so -a nice clunky old Maestro diesel van might kinda suit.

Boll -if you want it though- I'm not busting a gut over it?

If the electric bill turns out to be a little* on the high side, they've been using it as a cannabis farm

^WHS.

Though sometimes they by-pass the meter.

They probably used someone else's good credit / references to rent the place, so it's often tricky to track them down. Bastards.

I can't see why it would be painted matt black if it was a cannabis farm. Surely you want maximum light reflection for the plants? I have been in a house that was used as a farm, and when I say house, I mean EVERY single room, and that was lined with reflective foil material. The matt black would just absorb the light, which is also the heat source? Maybe I'm wrong, I cant stand cannabis so don't know the ins and outs of cultivating it.

Ah Hastings. I grew up there. Wasn't born there though I hasten to add!

Was a dumping ground when all the asylums were closed hence the large popular of 'characters'. The latest problem though is the middle class morons who believe themselves to be artists destroying any local charm the place once had.
