The dash at night

I reckon Sport trim (if 5 door) and 2009+ mild facelift.

The non shiny dash and up+down shift indicator means 2009+. HID lights (colour and lack of light height adjusters) but only single zone climate (only one temp control on the radio display) and no cruise control (on the right controls on the wheel) & auto wipers (because no adjuster on right stalk) means Sports trim.

Yes I am a bit sad. Or have some Hendry skills.

SI trim. Halogen lights. Manual wipers. 1.4 petrol. Not bad, good bearding

Nice car.

One’s too many, ten’s not enough!

Ah yes I think sport went from the facelift range.

Where is the headlight adjuster control? Or is it just too dark a picture?

i think sport and executive only hung around for 2005/2006 then it went

S->SE-->ES-->EX

type-S & type-R

with Si, Ti along the way with -T versions giving satnag and GT versions of type-R and EX making them posher

Ooh no. Right area...

It’s a hatch, smallest engine option. Was offered on here....

It's got the same fuel and temp gauge that seemingly every Japanese car had in the 90s but the font looks Hyundai. High spec Accent?

Nope.

Proton? Haven't been in one of those since an MPi so wouldn't have a clue! Given usual tendency to use cast off Mitsubishi bits, would fit with the fuel and temp gauges...

Struggling here without resorting to Googling every far east car!

Toyota Carina??

Pretty sure the Carina didn't have the vertically stacked gauges.

Not sure. Looks late 80's / early 90's Japanese and Turbocharged.

I reckon S12 Silvia at a semi-educated guess.

Or maybe a T12 or T72 Bluey turbo or Executive.

The Japanese at that time were really bloody good at making incredibly clean looking backlit dashboards weren't they?

For all there were a lot of interesting designs about at the time, I can't think of any other source of any which came close for how well polished the instrumentation looked after dark.
