Blimey, great update! I have to agree with chaseracer, that black '55 is utterly gorgeous. Loving all the abandoned 'Cudas and stuff also. Must be owned by a bit of a mentalist the way prices for those things are these days

We start with this tiny thing, I know the US had a 5 minute fling with the 'Smart' but I could not identify this.

I thought it was one of these.

But it seems not. I reckon its something French with about 500cc.

Pretty sure its the current version of the Think! electric car, I drove one once and it had phenomenal acceleration.

Great update , is this an Edsel

It is, it's the 1959 facelift. I thought I'd seen all the Herbie movies, where does an Edsel fit?

That Sterling doing Sterling service stateside brings a tear to my eye. Sort of. I love those US headlamps with the marker lights.

Yikes, nearly 6 months since I posted any spots. Nothing dramatic here but certainly a few grim motors.

If no one wants that Mustang in your office car park, I'm happy to pay shipping costs to a UK port of your choice!

That knackered looking white sedan is an AMC or Eagle Medallion, a badge engineered Renner 21 from the short lived period when AMC was owned by Renault (about 81 to 87 I think). When Chrysler bought AMC, to get hold of Jeep, the remaining Renault based cars were renamed 'Eagle' in a new 'division' alongside Plymouth, Dodge etc. The Eagle Premier, a sort of Renault 25 sedan, was the most interesting of these, but Chrysler took very little interest in the French designed stuff, as might be expected really.

Eagles then became badge engineered Chryslers and Mitsubishis until the 'division' was canned at the end of the 1990s.

Fantastic Spotting!!!... If you came across any Sunbeam Arrow please take a snap for me! ;)

I spotted this New York-registered Sunbeam Arrow in Ireland in 2008... Crappy quality but the guy pulled out in front of me and I had 0.5 seconds to focus.

Howdy all, I happened to be back in the vicinity of that AMC renner so got a few more spots but the sad news is that my inlaws have now moved away from the area so I won't be back upstate for a while. Here we go with the frog in the land of the free
