Well I thought I should do a H reg Proton thread and I did. I've seen a few H reg protons around but has anyone got any photos of them?

A few years ago a lad I worked with gave me a lift home in his Mum's Proton; I think it was H-reg but I'm not sure, so I may have put this in the wrong thread. I just know it was quite an early one. No picture anyway 'cause I had no phone-cam in those days.

In that case I'll use this thread to tell you about the J plate Aeroback I was following last week.

 

White, giffer spec, exhaust sounded rattley.

 

I see it a lot so I'll eventually get a photo of it if it isn't scrapped first. Its not the only one in town but I always notice it as it reminds me of our BX.

I had a 1.5MPi and thought it was quite fast. My mates used to laugh at it (and call me Proton knob), but one of my mates said the 1.5 goes like a 'wet wank'. Not sure if this expression was used to describe a quite fast car, or he was just mocking it.
