I take it there won't be a bun fight? I picked it up in a bag with some awful Chinese crap because I thought it said £1, it was actually £2.

I don't even like MK5 Escorts

No bun fight from me...

I had the red Espace. Had. I remember it having an accident and catching fire in the garden!

I wish I hadn’t done that now.

That Majorette Toyota Tercel estate was another I had as a kid. Mine was in that day glow orange colour. Was a favourite of mine but no idea what happened to it.

The plastic bodies would be defined as a moulding.

The metal bases are defined as a casting.

Those porto-franco bastards confused us on purpose.

I ran the Fart Ninja gauntlet around various shops today

BuM had a fair selection but nothing new

I didn't return entirely empty handed

Picked this up in a charity shop, at first glance I thought it was one of the Cars film vehicles but it's a Maisto Ford Starliner. Not seen anything similar from them

PXL_20240118_154212376.thumb.jpg.5343e534d179da4e7653e79870e09a7b.jpgPXL_20240118_154219148.thumb.jpg.e6b5f10c25af18949ca9579aff2e2022.jpgPXL_20240118_154240493.thumb.jpg.db8a94d2b1eb1c59417d503f87139418.jpg

Returned home to a couple of deliveries, firstly a trio of Siku VW T2s

PXL_20240118_154308545.thumb.jpg.00a56e76c071f583fc97a4859ac77eff.jpgPXL_20240118_154316452.thumb.jpg.5c1cfdc10e281b5e19d1553ac87ddc10.jpgPXL_20240118_154325352.thumb.jpg.55ee42b564c6de6b67c5fa55b266fbb4.jpg

Not sure what's happened to that one but it's suitable for a repaint

This one is better

PXL_20240118_154529261.thumb.jpg.0d82113aaa2bad64def35747d7013cea.jpgPXL_20240118_154539805.thumb.jpg.1ad4569290c138a843827792cf6489d0.jpgPXL_20240118_154548281.thumb.jpg.3c17a88dc174823eadbb6183dcd79b7b.jpg

But they both have a strange casting anomaly. In around 1972 VW started updating the Transporter, firstly larger tail lights replaced the old split window type, then a bit later they moved the front indicators from low on the front panel to up next to the fresh air vent, so there's a crossover period in about '73 with late rear and early front - these two appear to have both kinds of indicator fitted!

The third of them, a crew cab, doesn't appear to be like this

I have another but the fragile plastic bull bars are broken. I did win one on eBay some time ago but then it mysteriously got eaten by the dog/abducted by aliens/seller didn't get as much as they wanted for it.

Anyone planning on visiting the Toy Fair at Haydock Park Racecourse on the 11th February?

If anyone sees one of the Legends To Life ones in a charity shop, I'll donate a kidney to the charity.  Probably.

I think we must have only got a few as it's often the same castings that show up

I had all those plus the pick up and the 300ZX. Poundland used to retail them.

Just had a big box from Italy arrive, and yes, I did get my arse chewed for it! Worth it though.

I’d never seen this one before and it was the only one left so I snaffled it!

Despite the weird livery it’s a really nice model. Great detail on it.
I have no idea who or what ‘Pumper Nic’ is but presumably some kind of Burger King style outfit for South America??
My main thought for it was an eventual repaint into a more European colour scheme, since 504 pickups were reasonably common over here.

Lots of info on Pumper Nic here

It might be a benefit

Because if you had one of each, then the Dremmel* could do an indicator type delete and you'd be left with one for each era.

I thought you meant delete one early and one late indicator on the same casting....

I didn't, but.... if you did have four of each, you could do two extra 'daft-eyed' variations.

Then advertise those as factory error examples
